Story Of Mugowi Music
In 2016, the classical pianist Heather Hyemin Kim set out to launch Mugowi Music Service on the Upper West side of Manhattan to offer private music teaching and performing services. She guided young children to reach to the advanced level on piano and provided various performing experiences from the early beginning to late advanced stages of piano development, while she worked as an organist at Riverdale Presbyterian Church and an adjunct music faculty at Montclair State University.
In 2018, Heather Hyemin Kim moved to Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and three pets. She currently provides music lessons at her home studio in Ashbrook / Clawson Village in Charlotte, which is located just off E. Woodlawn Road between South Blvd. and the Park Road. Each seasonal package includes weekly piano lessons, monthly theory classes, a recital, and a game/party at the end of the season.
